Behles & Jochimsen cover a wide range of design tasks – from door handles to city planning. The focus of the practice is on complex building projects in urbanistically demanding situations.
Many of the projects the practice is working on are buildings for education and research. Another focus of B&J’s work is the conversion of – often listed – existing buildings and upscale interior design.
Urban design studies and designs, partially with research or moderation components, are also being worked out.
Clients come both from the private and the public realm. Many commissions, especially for institutional clients, result from successful competition entries.
Projects by B&J have frequently been published and exhibited.
Founded as GbR in 1999, Behles & Jochimsen operate as Gesellschaft von Architekten mbH (Ltd.) since 2005. An experienced team provides comprehensive architectural services with competence and on schedule.
B&J are also working as general planners and abroad.
