The Belle Epoque plan is turned around: the most important rooms are no longer oriented towards the street, but to the lake. A circuit around the central core with the serving spaces links the rooms. The basement previously housing a cellar and suffering from humidity is restructured and transformed into a guestroom and a music studio.

Wherever possible, the historic substance was repaired or reconstructed. With six newly built-in elements, which house a rich interior under their reserved surface, a clearly distinctable but corresponding layer is added to those already existing.

General theme of our intervention is the motive of the frame, which deals with distinction and structure, but also with connection and blending.
